Also during the event, volunteer programs and charity events will be held in the park. This year, among the partners of the Festival are the “Life Line”, “Old Age in Joy”, “Penetrating the Heart” foundations and the Konstantin Khabensky Foundation.

To unite people and increase the number of good deeds, the festival organizers, together with the Moscow School of Communications MACS, are announcing a competition of ideas. Contest participants need to create a concept for a viral action, video or flash mob that will attract users social networks and will inspire them to support the action, to do a good deed - to help one of the Festival's partner charitable foundations. Applications are accepted until July 15. The winner's idea will be implemented by the organizers, and as a prize the lucky winner will have the opportunity to undergo a year-long training with leading practitioners in the field of Digital communications at the MACS School.

Traditionally, festival guests will enjoy a rich daytime program: sports and creative entertainment, games and master classes for the whole family. The park will be open to guests from 14.00. After the headliners' performances, at 21:00, an unforgettable pyrotechnic show will begin. The teams will present programs consisting of two parts: the participant’s calling card - fireworks in the colors of the national flag accompanied by music with a national flavor - and a free program on the theme of goodness and magic. A competent international jury will monitor the technical details of the performances.

This is the fourth time the event has been held with the support of the Moscow Government. Last year, more than 700,000 viewers watched the show over two days. Admission to the festival is free for children under 7 years old (accompanied by an adult with tickets).

Most questions arise about the fireworks festival, which was held here for the third time.

And the most frequently asked questions: is it worth going to the festival and is it possible to see this beauty not from the park, but from somewhere nearby, that is, for free?

The questions are, of course, interesting, but my answers are not very clear.

Of course, this spectacle is very beautiful, expensive and memorable. Therefore, most likely, I will answer: yes, this fireworks show is worth watching, especially when you don’t live very far and you don’t have to trudge for three hours from the other end of Moscow or the region, and then jostle in the crowd and go around the National Guard cordons. What I mean is that people (especially those with kids) get very tired.

But I would advise buying a ticket to the park if:

1. There is an opportunity and means to get into the VIP zone in the stands. It is here that you can fully enjoy the beauty of the show and see not only the upper, but also the lower fireworks, lasers, fountains, and the reflection of these miracles in the water, and the sound design for the action.

2. But holders of Standard tickets will have to look for seats.

That being said, I would recommend visitors to arrive early. Firstly, to attend various festival activities (especially with children) and calmly take pictures without a crowd against the background of thematic festival objects (this year the theme of the show was “Magic and Goodness”, and the art objects were fairy-tale animals). Secondly, so as not to miss the concert of the announced group.

Thirdly, in order to notice and stake out more convenient places: the number of people, subjectively, becomes larger every year, the trees and bushes are higher and more magnificent, therefore, the view from some places is worse. Just keep in mind that you should take some food with you (you can’t overstock - they won’t let you in), because everything at the festival is expensive.

If you are traveling from a distance directly to the fireworks start scheduled for 9 pm, you should not expect that you will pass control in seconds (there will be many such latecomers). Also, don’t think that in a “no place to fall” state, the ranks of people will open up and give you the best “viewing” spot with a red carpet. This will not happen - and there is no point in complaining about poor organization and regretting wasted time and money!

Then it’s really better to look for places outside the park.

Here it is necessary to take into account that every year security authorities mark the “dead” zone differently. For example, in 2018 it was not as big as last year, 2017, and people behind the fences could easily find good review, to see upper fireworks.

You can enjoy the “lower” beauties if you make acquaintances with the local natives living on the top floors of houses overlooking the festival water area. Ask to visit them or at least to the stairwell - and the freeloader will be happy)

Many people expect to watch the show from the Brateevsky Bridge - albeit not directly, not as a complete, symmetrical picture, but as if in “profile”, from the side. Don't even hope! During the show, pedestrians are driven off the bridge (and this year there is also repair work going on there). So people outside the park had to look for convenient viewing points, for example, along Borisovskie Prudy Street.

Again, the visibility was not good everywhere; we looked for where there were at least small bald spots in the green spaces.

Don’t judge strictly on the quality of the photo, it’s not good, but only professional video can convey the beauty of fireworks (you’ll find a lot of reports and videos on the Internet), but my goal is to show what part of the fireworks is visible outside Brateevsky Park.

This shot was taken on the second day of the festival from Borisovskie Prudy Street in the area of the Water Motor Club stop, from the side of the houses. As you can see, the left fireworks are hidden behind the tops of the trees.

The next shot is from the stop closest to the bridge. Here the tree crown is not so dense. The view is better, although more from the side.

Then I walked around the fence and crossed the street to the park side to the same stop. In the bald patches of trees, because of the cordon mesh, you can see much better, and I liked this point the most. You can hardly hear music anywhere - just some snippets of melodies can be heard.

The time to experiment and find a more convenient place was during the breaks between the teams' performances.

And so you can see from the window of the landing of the house already behind the Brateevsky Bridge, that is, completely to the side.

Beautiful, of course. But, comrades, it’s still better to come from the park - I recommend, “everyone to the park”)

And one more thing: I read a lot of bad reviews about the festival. Of course, everyone has their own opinion - from their own experience. But I definitely want to answer: in order not to complain about a mediocre organization, be sure to go to the official websites before the event, there is a lot of necessary information there; don’t be late, come early and keep in mind that this is the largest mass event where the main thing is the safety of people, hence many restrictions. And this must be understood!
