Unfortunately for us (or vice versa, depending on which side you look at it) our main character Ri-chan didn't know about this.
Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi. Only a viewer unfamiliar with “Pure Romance” (which, I dare say, is unlikely to be found) will not recognize his direct relatives and the author in this series. The same panache, the same chibis and the same humor - it’s not great, but you get used to it. And I think I’ll even mark the last point as successfully implemented. I really found it funny. The setting in the series was good, it had a nice atmosphere. You need to be able to show feelings without turning them into tragedy, at the same time show experiences without turning into pathos and not slide into the level of dull soap, maintain the boundary between seriousness and comedy. Kon Chiaki, who directed “CR” and “Nodame Cantabile,” knows a lot about this, so I didn’t doubt her. Plus, the voice actors provided great support for the process. So, in terms of the technical component, everything is at the level - nothing particularly outstanding, but overall the impressions after watching remain positive. You don't need more from a romantic comedy.
What I can’t help but note with another plus is the characters and the place in which they spend most of time, as it were, presumably work. Editors. In our particular case, the editors of shojo - manga - the "Emerald" department - as others call it the "women's department" (the translators here went even further, calling it "girls", +1 to them) And here I got real pleasure. How I like these mountains, the ruins, under which the semi-living editors are buried, this setting really appeals to me. And it doesn’t matter that upon closer inspection everything turned out to be pink and downright kawaii - the perception did not change. And these laconic and indifferent people compared to Ritsu - his colleagues - I was in awe of them. “Ri-chan, what are you doing?” - “And I want to do this, this and this.” - “Wow, so much enthusiasm. This happened to me too. Don’t worry, it will pass.” Honestly, I was delighted with such short scenes. And the boss, Takano-san? A good boss who always does everything the right way. In general, they have a good department. It’s unlikely that I could work there, but it’s a pleasure to watch such passionate (/exhausted) people from the outside.
As in the case of CR, in “Love” there are three couples who, over the course of 12 episodes, sort out their feelings. All three couples turned out to be different, but united by one simple, but with complex consequences, factor - “first love”. Every viewer will find their favorites. I won’t go into detail about each of the couples. It’s better to watch it, and then, for those who don’t like it, read it.
In total, this turned out to be a very pleasant shonen-ai series. Someone, of course, will be waiting for yaoi, but he is not here. And, thank God. IMHO, bed scene in each episode does not contribute much to the development of relationships. First love is always pure and innocent, regardless of the time when it decided to happen (let’s forget, let’s forget the first love as bad dream Or we’ll attribute what happened to suddenly rising hormones).

I couldn't start watching this anime for a very long time. At first I walked around, thinking it was something boring. Then, when I became interested, I put it off. As a short story with the purpose of showing some excerpt from the life of a character (in in this case Crow) - it turned out quite well. It looks quite interesting and tells a little about the character’s past. But the fact of the matter is that it’s a LITTLE. As for the backstory of the character or the entire anime - none. Nothing is said. The OVA does not answer questions that arose after watching the season. I will never say that you don’t need to watch it. However, you shouldn’t expect anything serious from it in terms of the plot of the entire title. Just “watch and have fun.”

Albeit a primitive plot in my opinion. but there was something in him, some little thing that caught my attention when watching his behavior. the emotions that the characters expressed all made for interesting viewing. I’ll note that at first I couldn’t watch this anime because of the concept for the male mind in those days, but now I’ve overcome this terrible feeling (the guys got the hint heheh) and decided to go deeper into this series for reasons of knowing the whole atmosphere of how and what “First Cosmic Speed” is doing for their city, and the fact that Soniko-chan literally fell in love with her kindness and funny charisma is without a doubt, music, music and again music (for the sake of every Eding I’m ready to look and look at amazing cute screensavers at least days to fly by)!!! I am grateful to the anime author, grateful to the dubbers who made it more understanding and soulful for Russian people (Shiza Project to you) and grateful to the Anitokyo site and the main Aizen who brought this anime to this site!
