Concert hall of the Leningrad City Council. Concert Hall of the Palace of Culture named after. Lensovet

I admit, I rarely go to the theater. But when the opportunity presents itself, I gladly buy tickets or accept an invitation.
On Sunday, March 27, it was “Theater Day” and without thinking twice, we decided to spend time with the girls appropriate for the holiday.
The choice fell on the play “Today or Never” at the Lensovet Palace of Culture.

I bought the tickets. I always take the choice of seats seriously, because I am short and if someone tall sits in front of me, then the whole viewing will be a waste. Therefore, having visited the theater, I write advice:

1. Do not take seats in the stalls. People sit next to each other and you can hardly see anything. Yes, the stage is high, but tickets there are also decent. So I don’t see the point, unless, of course, you took a seat in the first three rows.
2. The mezzanine is an excellent choice, especially the first rows. From the side everything is very clearly visible, but if you take the mezzanine in the middle, it will be far away. But still no worse than on the ground.
3. The first tier, in my opinion, is high.
4. We took the 1st row of the amphitheater from 25-27 seats. Very good, you can stretch out the legs. But I still felt low, so I moved to a higher row (it was almost empty)
Photos from the phone are attached:

1. View from the first row of the amphitheater. In front of you is an anthill parterre.

2. Mezzanine and upper tier. The seats on the dress circle are very good, I recommend it.

3. There is an amphitheater below, a mezzanine and an upper tier above.

4. These are the chairs. Honestly, it's torture. I don’t understand how people two hours old sit on them, because they are very hard in the back. But they are soft :)

About the performance:

Comedy "Today or Never" family life. A rather primitive situation about love and family life is discussed, but in a comedic form. I won’t say that I actually cried with laughter, but overall I liked it. I give it 7 out of 10.

P.S:
A pleasant surprise awaited us when we went to the theater: we met a mentor from the show program “Dancing” Yegor Druzhinin :)))
With a trembling voice they asked me to take a photo :))
In life he is quite short in stature :)))

Friends, go to the theater! This is soooo cool :))

Friends, go to the theater! This is soooo cool :))

It’s hard to believe, but the legendary showman of the group “AuktYon” and rocker Oleg Garkusha is turning fifty. He celebrates this with a big concert at the Lensovet Palace of Culture. True, the hero of the day himself admitted that he felt like he was fourteen, and therefore would fool around, read poetry, dance and even sing on stage.
Once upon a time, after he joined the team, the image of “AuktYon” changed by 180 degrees. The group's performances turned into eccentric theatrical shows. Oleg’s peculiar plasticity, his famous jacket and painted face with thickly lined eyes became a symbol of the team.
But Oleg is not only a showman. He is both a brilliant actor and presenter. He starred in the films “Burglar”, “Presumption of Innocence”, “Khrustalev, Get in the Car!”, “Tragedy in Rock Style”, “Nirvana”, “Swing”, “Short Circuit”. Worked with Alexei German in the film “It’s Hard to Be God.” He hosted his own program “Garkundel” on the night air of St. Petersburg television. Perhaps at the concert he will remember different times his life and share it with the public.
This extraordinary event is designed by the famous avant-garde artist Kirill Miller, so that viewers will not only have something to listen to, but also something to look at. And, of course, at such a celebration his friends will come to congratulate Oleg and perform: Yuri Shevchuk, Sergei (Chizh) Chigrakov, Diana Arbenina (“Night Snipers”) and many others, whose names the hero of the occasion has not yet revealed.
- I would like it to be not a banal concert, because fifty is not just a date. Exactly half of this time - 25 years - I have been on stage. - Oleg said. “And I expect not only my friends and colleagues to congratulate me, but also the audience, with their presence and their warm applause.
But there is one surprise that Garkusha told us about in advance. At the concert there will be a presentation of his new collection of poems, which is about to be published. Many of these poems have never been heard; Oleg will read them for the first time.
The birthday boy also spoke about what kind of gift he would like to receive:
- My very big dream- premises for your own club “Garkundel”. There is a chance that everything will work out for me, because the papers have already been sent to the appropriate authorities, everyone supported me, all that remains is to wait for the final resolution of the issue.
However. Garkusha not only loves to receive gifts, but also gives them with pleasure. Therefore, from this birthday, the audience will leave with gifts from Oleg and the cult rock store “Castle Rock”. And, of course, with a feeling of unprecedented drive, because remember good times the eighties and seeing what the "old guard" can do today is always great.
- Come, I will be glad to see you all! And I’m ready to perform until I sweat,” Oleg said. - I hope that everyone will hear their favorite song. In general, let's celebrate the birthday with a bang!
