II festival of student works “Urban space: the view of future urban planners”

The names of the best students among specialized colleges in Moscow have been announced

On November 1, 2016, the names of the best students, laureates of the competition held as part of the 1st Festival “Urban Space: The View of Future Urban Planners” in the “House on Brestskaya” became known.

Winner of the 1st prize in the category “Urban planning object” became Yaroslav Samokhvalov, GBPOU of the city of Moscow "Moscow College of Architecture and Urban Planning", for the work "Cultural and leisure center as part of the Otradnoye transport hub", work supervisor Nelly Ivanovna Maneshina.

Winner of 1st prize in the category “Landscape solution” became Irina Matyukhina, GBPOU of the city of Moscow "Moscow College of Architecture and Urban Planning", for the work "Project for the improvement of a residential area with the development of a two-level space in the courtyard area of ​​​​the city of Brest", supervisor Olga Olegovna Slivko.

Winner of 1st prize in the category “Detail in Exterior” became Daria Gumenyuk, KDIDI MGHPA im. S. G. Stroganova, for the work “Thematic development of the entrance group”, work supervisors Anastasia Aleksandrovna Pavlovskaya and Irina Vitalievna Lobacheva.

Winner of 1st prize in the category “Interior Design” became Lyudmila Kondrashova, GBPOU of the city of Moscow “Moscow College of Architecture and Urban Planning”, for the work “Design project of the interior of an apartment for a person with disabilities at the address: Moscow, st. Shosseynaya, 31”, work supervisor Natalya Yuryevna Andreeva.

Of the 13 specialized organizations operating in educational programs average vocational education of the city of Moscow, among the strongest is the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the City of Moscow "Moscow College of Architecture and Urban Planning", which took 3 first places out of 4 possible. The first Festival “Urban Space: The View of Future Urban Planners” concluded its work with a solemn award ceremony. Over the 7 days of the event, more than 900 people visited its business program and exposition.

The initiator and organizer of the Festival “Urban Space: The View of Future Urban Planners” is the Information and Analytical Center of the Moscow Urban Development Policy and Construction Complex “Mosstroyinform”, with the support of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy and the Moscow Department of Education. The general partner of the event is the Educational and Production Association “Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services”.

The main goal of “Urban space: the view of future urban planners”- popularization of the achievements of the urban planning policy of the city of Moscow through demonstration of the results of creative design solutions of young architects and designers.

The festival is designed to draw attention to the creation of a comfortable public urban environment through demonstrating the views of young architects and designers, students of Moscow professional educational institutions for the design of urban development facilities in the context of constant growth of urbanization.

In addition, the festival is aimed at increasing the prestige of the working professions of architects, builders, designers and demonstrating professional competencies future urban planners.

The II festival of student works “Urban space: the view of future urban planners”, the goal of which is to draw attention to the issues of creating a comfortable public urban environment, will begin on October 25 at 15:00 in the “House on Brestskaya”.

The organizer of the II festival is the Information and Analytical Center for the Complex of Urban Development Policy and Construction of the City of Moscow "Mosstroyinform" with the support of the Department of Urban Development Policy of the City of Moscow and the City Methodological Center of the Department of Education of the City of Moscow, a strategic partner of the event.

As part of the festival, the House on Brestskaya will host creative competition in five categories: " Architectural object", "Interior design", "Detail in the interior", "Landscape solution", "Detail in the exterior" among students studying in educational programs of secondary vocational education in Moscow. The II festival of student works “Urban space: the view of future urban planners”, the goal of which is to draw attention to the issues of creating a comfortable public urban environment, will begin on October 25 at 15:00 in the “House on Brestskaya”.

“150 works from more than 20 specialized fields were submitted to the competition educational institutions from different cities of Russia, including Novosibirsk, Saratov, Penza, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Lipetsk. The scale of works accepted for the competition shows an increase in the number of participants by 1.5 times compared to last year, which once again proves the recognition and demand for our project,” comments the director of the State Budgetary Institution “Mosstroyinform” Farit Fazylzyanov.

On October 24, the first Festival “Urban Space: The View of Future Urban Planners” opened at the “House on Brestskaya”. The opening was attended by representatives of the Departments of Urban Development Policy and Education of Moscow, the Moscow Committee for Architecture and the Educational and Production Association “Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services”.

“The Information and Analytical Center of the Moscow Construction Complex has become a new platform that provides an opportunity for talented youth, passionate about urban planning, architecture and design, to demonstrate a fresh look at the issues of organizing urban space and landscape design,” read out the greeting from the head of the Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow, Sergei Levkin, to him Deputy Sergei Degtyarev.
“Creating a comfortable urban environment is a key task of urban planning policy implemented in Moscow. The development of accessible public spaces, pedestrian and park areas helps improve the quality of life in the metropolis, creating favorable conditions for work, education and leisure for Muscovites and city guests,” noted S. Levkin in greeting.

109 works were presented in 4 categories for the creative competition of the Festival. The most projects, 40, were in the category “Urban planning object”, 25 - “Landscape solution”, 24 - “Interior design” and 20 - “Detail in the exterior”.

“The number of nominees for victory in the competition indicates the timeliness of holding such professional competitions for young professionals. With all the stylistic and content diversity of the projects, the exhibition becomes a kind of universal manifesto of architecture younger generation architects,” commented the director of the State Budgetary Institution “Mosstroyinform” Farit Fazylzyanov.

Students of specialized organizations operating educational programs of secondary vocational education in Moscow are invited to participate in the competition.
A total of 13 specialized institutions presented their work at expert assessment professional jury. 7 masters in architecture, design and construction, including the chief architect of Moscow Sergei Kuznetsov, will evaluate the work of young architects.

“Rapidly developing Moscow so needs new projects and, of course, new names, who could implement new ambitious projects in the difficult urban planning situation of the metropolis. The competition “Houses on Brestskaya” is an excellent launching pad for young authors,” said Chairman of the Moscow Architectural Society, Member of the Union of Moscow Architects, Professor of the Moscow Architectural Institute, head of Workshop No. 7 at JSC Mosproekt, Chairman of the competition jury Boris Uborevich-Borovsky.

“This is my first competition,” Elizaveta Nemtinova, a graduate of State Budgetary Educational Institution “Construction College No. 30,” shared her impressions. - For the competition, I submitted a project for a residential building, a house where, in my opinion, people will be happy. I thought through the aesthetic side of the project, and the internal solution of the space. For example, the upper floors are a public space where a reading room and recreation areas will be organized. I hope that the jury will be able to evaluate my project, and in the future it will be brought to life.”

In addition to the competition for future urban planners, the Festival will feature other interesting events. The event schedule, in addition to presentations from leading specialized universities, will include original master classes by famous experts in the field of architecture and design.
