WHERE FORMAT COMES FROM

So, at first comedians can only communicate through questions, then they can only move around blindfolded or with stun guns on their hands, which shock the participants. It should be noted that such competitions were once in family reality shows, and in KVN, and in other humorous projects. However, comedians have never done an entire show based on improvisation.
The host of “Improvisation” was Pavel Volya. The main feature of humor that is born in real time is that the show does not involve doubles and these jokes cannot be repeated, Volya admitted. That is why the project seemed interesting to him.

Before getting into television, we worked in this genre for several years - me and Sergey Matvienko in St. Petersburg, Dmitry Pozov and Anton Shastun in Voronezh. Then we received an offer from the TNT channel to unite and make a show! There were fears that nothing would work out and the viewer wouldn’t believe it, but, in my opinion, everything worked out.
Have you loved improvising since childhood?
For me, improvisation is the ability to get out, and I have loved to get out since childhood. If you smoked, you need to convince your parents that it wasn’t you, if you didn’t clean the room, you need to come up with something again, and so on.
Do your relatives watch the show? Share your impressions?
The fact is that initially my parents saw me in a more serious profession. Even after school, I entered the economics department of one of the city universities, but quickly realized that I had chosen the wrong profession. I took the documents and entered Omsk state university to the Faculty of Culture and Arts with a degree in drama actor. My parents still supported me and still support me. Mom is very happy about everything that happens in my life: an A in an exam, auditioning for the theater, working on television.
And the father?
Initially, I hid from him that I was playing in the theater. One day I came home after a performance, and he met me on the threshold and silently shook my hand. It turned out that he was at my performance, and he really liked it. For me this was the highest praise! Now the recognition of this viewer is most important to me, and I hope that he also watches the show “Improvisation” periodically.
How often does filming take place?
We shoot about 30 games in one day. The program includes 7 games. You can easily calculate that we shoot 4 programs per day and can cut a maximum of two games.
